James & Sylvia were a perfect addition to our wedding reception dinner. They were flexible enough to play inside our rental property during cocktail hour and move outside to the reception area during dinner. Their music was classic, tasteful and pleasant. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the music was! We booked James and Sylvia about seven months before our wedding and James was great with keeping an line of open communication in the time leading up to the wedding. Thank you James and Sylvia for a perfect evening!

James and Sylvia Kalal are a TOP NOTCH duo that is sure to leave your party or crowd with an incredible experience. They are perfect for all ages! They are a guitar duo, and we hired them for a St. Patrick's Day event, and they went so far out of their way to come up with a Celtic themed playlist for us. They nailed it!!! They are seriously some of the most hardworking people with just incredible, pure talent. If you haven't had a chance to listen to them yet, don't delay because you will not be disappointed!

Booking James and Syliva was one of the best decisions of our wedding planning process. They were so easy to work with and were able to learn a song just for us. They are beyond talented and people can't stop talking about how beautiful they were during the ceremony. I selected James and Sylvia to play traditional flamenco at a very personal event. Not knowing them personally, I held natural apprehensions. We had a loose schedule of visceral cues, and no hard-and-fast set list. They were outstanding. True professionals. Their handiwork on timing, rhythm, mood and shared energy brought an element of pure joy and enthusiasm that was incredible. Possibly remiss in juxtaposition, in food terms, it was that “umami” flavor—totally ineffable and spectacular. Their knowledge of music was particularly credible and it showed in their technique and style. I would recommend them for any event. They have my warmest thanks and appreciation.
