My overall experience with both James & Sylvia was wonderful. James had quick and professional communication both via phone & email. He proudly sent me all of his professional experiences and where he had played in the past. He shared Sylvia's experience and was very thorough about his accomplishments; which showed that he is truly passionate about what he does! James & Sylvia were dressed professionally for the occasion and arrived at The Cloister in a timely manner and were fully prepared to perform. They added such poise and played beautifully during my husband's 50th birthday celebration! Doesn't get better than that! Overall, an absolutely beautiful memory!

James (Ed) played lovely Spanish acoustic guitar at my cousin’s funeral. He was professional, prompt and his music was perfect. He is extremely talented and played with heart and soul, making a sad yet beautiful memorial even more beautiful. I would highly recommend! Thank you again Ed!!!

Jim and Sylvia were wonderful, perfect for our 30th bday party. They are extremely talented and their music set just the right mood for the entire party. We were so impressed with James & Sylvia! They were absolutely fantastic!! We booked them for my fathers 73rd surprise birthday party and they arrived on time and were very professional & attentive to our needs. They played a wide range of songs from Jimmy Buffet to Frank Sinatra to Kenny Rogers....and a little bit of old hymns for my father. Everyone loved it! They were just the touch of elegance and class we were looking for.
We are thinking about booking them for our church Christmas banquet we may be having this year. Can’t wait! Thanks again for everything!!

James and Sylvia performed at my wife's birthday party. Their music performance was incredible and there was something special and classy about the sound of a Spanish guitar playing in the background as we entertained the guests, who could not believe that we hired such incredibly gifted, professional guitar players. James and Sylvia are also the nicest people you will meet!. Since it was an Elton John themed party they even prepared to play a custom song list of my wife's favorite songs. My wife and my guests were blown away by their performance and their presence made this party an absolute hit. I highly recommend James and Sylvia for your next event!

They were great and very entertaining...James played the guitar also. They had a wide variety of music and were able to fulfill requests too. Mike was more than pleased with this birthday surprise. James and Sylvia created the perfect ambience and backdrop to our intimate gathering of 25 or so friends and family. Due to inclimate weather, we held the party inside and James and Sylvia were able to adjust their sound level perfectly so that the guests could still easily converse with one another without being drowned by music. They were both very professional and I would recommend them to anyone in need of good talent.

Jim and Sylvia received many complements from our guests after their performance. They are truly wonderful performers and I would recommend them highly. They even went to the trouble to create their own guitar rendition of a piece that we wanted them to play. Wonderful!!

Jim & Sylvia were an awesome team! They showed up ahead of time, were very attentive to our specific details for our special day and nailed it exactly. Jim and Sylvia fit right in with our renaissance wedding theme. Clothes, equipment, songs, etc. The period music they played was executed so well that the guests wanted more and more and more. We have to say that Jim & Sylvia exceeded all of our expectations & were absolutely perfect for adding the unique & romantic flair to our wedding ceremony/reception. Our wedding was simple, but the choices we made for entertainment, location, food & decorations were completely magical! Jim and Sylvia were wonderful -- they performed for nearly 3 hours, accommodated the musical tastes and interests of our guests who ranged in age from mid-twenties to mid-nineties, and made the event truly special for our guests of honor. All of our guests commented on their skill and musicianship (and several pulled up chairs so that they could simply sit and listen to the music!) and asked how we found them. Thank you for making my parents' 30th wedding anniversary party an event we'll be talking about for years.

I love him..I definitely want to book him again, he's so humble and gentle in spirit. I had a wonderful time listening to him, the party guest loved him some even asked about his services. Jim and Sylvia highly exceeded my expectations when I hired them to play at my Jacksonville wedding. Not only is the duo extremely talented on the guitar, they also went above and beyond to customize the playlist to fit each portion of the night. In order to accommodate my desire for Salsa music to dance to, Jim and Sylvia studied the guitar tracks on various Salsa songs and played along with the track. Sylvia even plays the ukulele, which was a great fit and quite the hit for my Spanish Luau theme. I would highly recommend Jim and Sylvia to anyone looking for the romantic sound of the Spanish guitar and would hire them again in a heart beat.

We were beyond satisfied with the performance from Jim & Sylvia at our Spanish & South American themed wine dinner! They did a wonderful job not only with their beautiful music, but also in the way that they controlled the flow of the evening. Soft background music for the first two courses and strolling throughout the tables to the delight of our guests for the remainder of the dinner. They were the perfect compliment to our culinary event!
