Nadia Pessoa is an award-winning harpist with more than 25 years of experience in providing the soundtrack to unforgettable events. As one of the most sought-after harpists in Washington DC, she has performed at the U.S. Capitol, State Department, The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall.

Nadia can be seen at VIP events throughout D.C., including the pre-State of the Union Address reception at the State Department and the Inaugural Ball at the Convention Center, where she performed onstage with Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett. She has also been the featured harpist at Ford's Theatre's Gala at the U.S. Capitol, the Shakespeare Theatre's Harman Center for the Arts Gala, the Horatio Alger Association Awards, and the Smithsonian Campaign's Gala at the National Portrait Gallery.
She served as the harpist for the White House Christmas Party in 2006.

She performed for the season finale of "My Fair Wedding" on the WeTV network starring celebrity planner David Tutera, and has been featured in The Knot's Real Weddings, WedLUXE, and Joanna Dee Weddings.
Nadia also regularly performs as an orchestral harpist with the National Philharmonic, National Gallery of Art Orchestra, Annapolis Symphony, Manassas Ballet Theatre, and the Choral Arts Society of Washington.
Nadia holds degrees from Indiana University and the University of Michigan, and has been on the faculties of Louisiana State University, the Washington Conservatory of Music, and Howard University.
