Nadia was absolutely FANTASTIC to work with! She was incredibly professional, responsive, and accommodating of all music requests we had. We ultimately had our ceremony outside at Oatlands in Leesburg, VA, and even with some last minute crazy weather which temporarily changed our location, Nadia was quickly willing to switch spots and get set to play. She is incredibly talented, and was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding day! She has a versatile repertoire of songs that enabled us to pick music that truly reflected us (Calvin Harris, Florence + the Machine, The Legend of Zelda), which made our wedding even more special. We would absolutely recommend!

Nadia is an excellent communicator up to and including the event today. She is professional in every way from her talent to her presentation. She was probably the most talked about thing at the party. We will definitely look to book Nadia at our holiday party next year. I know a couple of people asked for her information and I will happily send that forward. She is WONDERFUL. She was a perfect fit to our party.

Nadia Pessoa is a world class harpist, proven by both her resume and her live performance. Our daughter, who was the bride, is also a performing harpist, so when she needed a harpist to perform at her own wedding, she wanted the best. Nadia was asked to perform a pretty challenging repertoire, and did so flawlessly. She also played a duet with the groom's brother, a clarinetist and graduate of the Julliard School. With little time to rehearse together, the duet was a thing of beauty to listen to. There were times I thought I was at a concert rather than a wedding ceremony. Nadia Pessoa is an exceptional talent.

Nadia was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with from beginning to end. She contacted me shortly after booking to discuss our ceremony and ideas we might have about it. She kept in contact throughout the planning process and was especially helpful in selecting music that was appropriate to our wedding and fitting for our celtic theme. Her playing was MUCH COMPLIMENTED by all our friends and family. She was the PERFECT choice for our venue, the Old Post Chapel at Fort Myer in Arlington, VA. I cannot recommend Nadia highly enough. She is warm, friendly, easy to work with and beautifully talented! We are SO HAPPY we included her in our ceremony!

Nadia's presence and performance at my mother's memorial service was unbelievable. Friends and family are still talking about it. I emailed her with my music requests and even added extra time to our original contract; I sent the additional payment to her through paypal. She was early to arrive, poised and very professional. Would highly recommend and would definitely use her service again.

Ms. Nadia Pessoa is an amazing harpist! A very gifted and talented musician (and extremely knowledgeable) with an exceptional ability to play by ear. She was extremely professional and accommodating, and happily rescheduled even when our original session was postponed due to the blizzard. Very communicative throughout the process and came to the studio session prepared. Nadia Pessoa did a fabulous job at our wedding ceremony. She was quick to respond at emails and work with our music selection requests. Before we booked her, we did a hearing at her house. We wanted to hear her live and discuss our music selection. When I heard her play, I almost cried (I was trying to keep my cool and not be a crybaby during our appointment with her...lol). I knew that she was the one I wanted for our ceremony, everyone said she did a wonderful job and how elegant it was to hear a harpist and flutist play at the ceremony. I can truly say I would recommend Nadia to anyone --- be it for a ceremony, cocktail, corporate or even a retirement party.

Nadia stepped in 1 month before the wedding to cover for a harpist who had an unexpected conflict. She made me feel like she had been with me the whole time. She answered all my emails quickly, and was easy to talk to on the phone. She went to the site ahead of time o check it out and make sure everything would be ok.
She played beautiful music and even accompanied my cousin as she sang. We got many compliments on her playing. Before and after the ceremony she checked in with me to see if everything was going well.
I'd highly recommend Nadia!!

Nadia was easy to contact by email and phone, responding quickly and thoroughly to any questions or concerns we had as we prepared for our wedding reception. She was always upbeat, professional and courteous. She was prompt in showing up and setting up for playing, very nicely presented, and interacted extremely well with other staff working the event as well as with guests. Her playing was excellent and provided the perfect touch to a formal, yet "family" celebration of our daughter's wedding. Her selection of music was varied and enjoyed by all. Nadia is an outstanding harpist. She worked with us to ensure our wedding ceremony was beautiful when a previously booked performer told us she could not perform only weeks before the wedding. Nadia was also very accommodating......playing Ave Maria with a vocalist from the church. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful this song was weeks after the wedding. Nadia did an incredible job at our wedding! She was absolutely great to work with, performed beautifully, and was very accommodating of our song choices. We chose several pieces that were out of the box and no matter what we threw her way, she was able to translate the songs to the harp with no problem. A number of people commented afterward on how lovely the music was! Nadia performed at our ceremony and also for the cocktail hour immediately following. She was very responsive to emails and we spoke on the phone several times - she was very calming about the details and we were so happy to be able to include all the music we wanted!!! We were absolutely delighted with Nadia Pessoa, the harpist we selected to play for our recent wedding. She played prelude and processional music, and accompanied a soloist for the outdoor ceremony. She then played throughout the cocktail hour and reception dinner. Apart from the pieces we had chosen for the ceremony itself, we'd left the choice of music to her, after telling her broadly what we liked. Our guests spoke glowingly about the sensitivity of her playing and of her selection of music appropriate to the occasion.
