Amethyst Trio was amazing!!! We hired them for our wedding at Thomas Fogarty Winery and we could not have been happier. Their music was beautiful, they were easy to work with, and played exactly what we asked for. We have received non-stop compliments from our guests raving about their music. They were absolutely incredible and added a special touch to what would have otherwise been just another business dinner. My guests loved the classic rock and recognizable tunes they were playing and even played a guessing game to name the songs. Highly recommend!!!

Amethyst trio played masterfully at our wedding. We hired a harp and violin duo. Before the wedding, Lara was super responsive over email and phone to all my requests. During the wedding, they timed the pieces for the bridal party entrance perfectly. Highly recommend for a no-stress highlight for a wedding ceremony.

The Amethyst Trop played for our wedding October 18, 2015. It was perfect. Everyone commented how exceptional the music was. I worked with Lara to compile a list of classical and soft music for our prelude, processionals, recessional, and cocktail hour, and they performed a solo during the service. Lovely. They have an amazing repertoire of instrumentals, both classical and modern. I would give the very highest recommendation for others to consider this excellent group. Your ceremony is a once-in-a-lifetime thing, so I'd encourage you to choose only the best. - Sandy R

The amazingly talented Amethyst Trio are both brilliant musicians and very kind. We are so grateful for the outstanding talent of pianist, harp and flute player Lara Garner, violinist Ilana Blumberg Thomas and cellist Sam Van Loon, playing like the Met and the Philharmonic. Ms. Garner went the extra mile and worked very hard for us. She is an excellent bandleader. I would be honored to work with The Amethyst Trio again. They played Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Stravinsky, Shubert and The Rolling Stones to perfection. Their immense talent and skill impressed everyone in the audience with their magnificent sound. They performed a superb Tango solo that had everyone in awe.

Incredible! I couldn't have asked for a better group. The music was spectacular and they were all extremely friendly and warm. Lara's harp playing was magical and created exactly the fairytale wedding we wanted. The sound of the strings and the harp is indescribably beautiful and was the perfect backdrop to such a meaningful day in all of our lives. Also, I was impressed at how easy the whole process was, including contacting the musicians ahead of time. Lara always returned my emails and phone calls within a very short time. We felt really comfortable throughout the whole process. Hiring Amethyst Trio was one of the best things we did and I recommend them highly!
