All the members of Amadeus Strings were very professional and played beautifully for our wedding ceremony. I corresponded with Ellen a lot before the wedding for a special request and she was very accommodating and showed sincere concerns for making our day everything we imagined it to be! We would definitely recommend this ensemble to anyone for any occassion. Thank you so much ladies, and well done!

The group )violin,cello and trumpet) arrived at the outdoor wedding site with plenty of time to spare. They played well including a special composition that I sent them beforehand. It made the wedding very personal and classy besides. When you book a group sight unseen and from many states away, there is always a worry that things will go wrong. No need for concern here!

The group walked thru the door 10 minutes before they were to start...set up, and were on at exactly 6:30pm....and absolutely blew my entire party out of the water....and WOW...they were dressed just perfect! They serenaded the "engaged couple", did some requests, sang a special "Happy Birthday" to the Mother of the groom, and made light conversation and joked with the guests. Even though we booked for only one hour, they didn't make it appear they were on a time schedule, which impressed me very much. All in all, I have to say, they made the party a huge success, and I can highly recommend them. They were fun!!!!! Derrele Scott

I’m a Texan who visited Colorado Springs recently and had dinner with a dear friend and her family. What a SURPRISE to my host when Ellen of Amadeus arrived to play sweet violin music for us during our meal! Ellen played beautifully! Christmas carols, old favorites from Broadway plays … WOW it was great! Thanks Ellen for making that long trip from Denver to bless our evening!

I was very pleased with the overall experience. It was a great addition to the dinner and I have had great compliments on the special music requests and the quality of the music. The weather was bad but the musicians were prompt and very professional. I will tell others to consider them for future weddings and parties. I am so thankful that I chose them for our event.

We hired the String Trio for our wedding. And they played beautifully! It really made our ceremony. Ellen was very accomadating and always easy to reach for last minute questions and arrangements. Thanks Amadeus. You were great!

Overall I was disappointed with the string trio. The entire group was very disorganized, they did not arrive on time and started late making the wedding start late, they were supposed to be playing for 30 min before it even started. They talked during the ceremony and could be heard by the crowd. The main member that I talked to then stayed afterwards and drank from the back bar when only soda was mentioned in the contract. Overall I would not recommend them.

BRIDES: read your contracts! If it states "drinks and hors de oeuvres" and you sign it, you give your permission. All members arrived before play time. The planner did not come up to greet us, no chairs were set up, cellist had to ask for a lamp to see music. Cellist got lost in music because of poor lighting, I had to tell her the measure number we were on during the ceremony. the bride emailed me to extort money from me, saying she would not leave a poor review if I refunded 1/3 of already low bid. She kept badgering me. Just because my member had someone ask her for directions where to set up does not mean we were unorganized. That's the planners job.
