We hired Stephen for my mom's funeral, and were so pleased with his professionalism and talent. He arrived early, and exhibited flexibility with a few "timing issues". He has a very pleasant personality and is eager to please. Highly recommend!

Stephen played the bagpipes for my wedding and he was absolutely top notch. He was friendly, accommodating and a wonderful bagpipe player. He gave us exactly what we wanted, and I really could not have been happier with his performance. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone.

"The bagpiper was great!" "Your father would've have loved hearing your piper, he played beautifully." "The service was lovely but, the bagpiper made the day!" "Your father would have been as touched as we all were." These are a few comments from family & friends after Stephen played a final tribute for my Dad. Mr. Megarity was on time, impeccably dressed, and truly played as well as any piper I've ever heard. Stephen demonstrated steadfast respect standing in near 100 degree sunshine throughout the eulogy & was "on it" when his time to play came. I will recommend Stephen Megarity ANY time for ANY event, he's that good!

Mr. Megarity is a marvelously talented piper with a very broad selection of Irish and Scottish tunes. He played beautifully; answered questions about his pipes in a clear and informative manner; and was particular good with the younger students who clapped and danced to his merry tunes. Appropriate for any happy occasion, I would hire Mr. Megarity in a snap.

Stephen was wonderful. He added just the perfect touch to my father's Irish Catholic funeral. He was right on time, and was able to play the Notre Dame Victory March just as I had requested.

Stephen Megarity was not available to assist at the Memorial Service so he referred me to Forrest Cormany. Forrest was extremely professional and helped me with the selection of music and suggesting a "grand" entrance into the Church. I received such positive comments about his presence and music. He also included a song that was mentioned in one of the eulogies, which did not go unoticed. Thank you for such a positive performance on such a sad occasion.

Stephen was very pleasant, came dressed as he said he would - however I asked him to stay after the ceremony until photos were done (approx. 1 hour) and then play as he escorted us into the dining room for a grand entrance. He would then be free to leave, but instead he left immediately after the ceremony. The groom was even interrupted from photos in order to pay him so he could leave. A rather big disappointment, as I was counting on him to play just one more tune. He only played one, and in hindsight I felt it was hardly worth it.
