This is the first time I have ever had to remove myself from a commitment but last minute changes in what was asked for came from the Jankunis party and it was contrary to what I am accustomed to providing. I am a perfomer and they were asking me to simply "play" songs that would have had a much more emotional impact if the lyrics were SUNG since they were special songs for the anniversary--what good is "playing" "After All" by Cher/Peter Cetera and a few other songs if those pertinent lyrics are not heard--and if people did not know the lyrics the melody would have simply been empty without it--never in my career have I bowed out on a gig but these and other modif
