The String Poets group was great! They had no problems with our requested playlist, and we got multiple compliments for them from our guests. We'd definitely recommend them to others.

WeddingReviewed on May 31, 2008From Pasadena, MD

The musicians took care to speak with me & email me before my wedding to check that everything was done as I liked, and they were early & already set up well before the time asked. Also, we put them through additional difficulties- first inside, then at the last moment, outside when the rain stopped, then even a little rain on their beautiful instruments while they played a lovely rendition of Ave Maria! Their professionalism was unshaken throughout this. And, all the music was beautiful! I highly recommend them!

The String Poets were able to come through for us on very short notice. Having never met them in person I was at first hesitant to book them, but after speaking to Radhi I comfortable I had make a good choice. We are very pleased with their performance during our ceremony. We couldn't possibly be happier. No reason for anyone to look any further than with the String Poets, you will not be disappointed in their professionalism, suggestions, or performance.

Great to work with, fantastic professional musicians. We could not have asked for a better quartet at our wedding.

Mr. Santos was charming and responsive. The trio arrived promptly and began to play. Their music was wonderful. We hope to have String Poets play for another of our functions.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on September 8, 2012From Baltimore, MD

The string quartet was absolutely amazing and they played everything we requested (I even requested the Star Wars theme and they played it). The only draw back was that Radhi, who does all the coordinating, is extremely difficult to get a hold of and to be honest we weren't even sure if we were going to have a string quartet until about 2 hours before our ceremony.

The String Poets were perfect for our wedding. They were very flexible as well as accommodating. Everything they played sounded beautiful and they were the perfect accompaniment to our event!

Holiday PartyReviewed on January 2, 2013From Bethesda, MD

Music was fantastic, couldn't have asked for anything different. They showed up to the event early, took minimal breaks, and I heard positive feedback from all guests.

WeddingReviewed on May 28, 2013From Bel Air, MD

The String Poets performed our wedding ceremony music beautifully! They arrived extra early and played the music I requested at the specific times I requested them. They were extremely polite and were genuinely happy to be a part of our special day. The only negative thing I have to say is that they did not answer my confirmation email in a prompt manner. However, Mr. Santos called me 3 days before the ceremony and put my mind at ease. It was wonderful experience and I would highly recommend the String Poets to anyone getting married in the Baltimore/DC area.

Church ServiceReviewed on August 23, 2008From Stevenson, MD

When they arrived at the event half of them never met the other half of them. The cello told me they called her to sit in on this event and never met the person. They were so bad, we had to cut one of the hymns in the service. They told me to send them the music and I did. They told me the needed the music, because they were going to rehearse before the event. They were an embarrassment

:

We did a "GREAT" Job. There was an overwhelming amount of praise from guests including the client. This is a baseless personal Attack. Our FIVE STARS feedback speaks for itself. We had to have an emergency replacement Musician, because our Regular Cellist was hospitalized. Substituting musicians is a common practice in the performing arts. True professionals always have someone on hand to fill in seamlessly, as our Cellist did. Our substitute Cellist is a member of "Annapolis Symphony". She is a fantastic Musician. The client never provided "Finlandia" at any point before or during the event. That is why we did not play it. We did our job,and we did it well!
