For starters, this is the first time I've ever reviewed a service negatively, and I always take negative reviews with a grain of salt.
We were impressed by the quality of Silhouette's performances online, and the variety of songs to pick from. We picked out a ton of songs, and asked them to take their pick, as long as they didn't play Canon in D. I spoke to Yuriy on the phone, and asked him not to play Canon in D. Then, as I'm lined up with my wedding party ready to start walking up the aisle, what do I hear? CANON IN %$^*ING D.
No, this didn't ruin our wedding. But sometimes listening to your clients really matters. This was one of them.

They were very cooperative and wonderful musicians! We were very glad we hired them for our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception and would higly recommend them.

Silhouette Strings were wonderful. Very easy to work with and very professional. Their music made the wedding ceremony flow beautifully and also made it very elegant, unique, and special. Many of the guests commented on the string quartet's superb performance.

You get what you pay for..... This was the least expensive group we looked at. Yes, they do a good job. The only huge disappointment was that the one song they needed to play as my sisters sang, they didn't even bring the sheet music! I was assured they would only need to run through the song once pre-ceremony. It....was....bad! No music, they couldn't follow the singers as promised. I don't think they had ever even practiced it! If you stick to what is on their play list, you are fine. Special requests are risky.

The singers, who were members of the wedding party, could not read music, therefore making it very difficult for the musicians to follow them, even though the musicians were prepared and had all of the correct parts.

Silhouette Strings was wonderful! They performed at my daughter's wedding. They were always quick to respond to my emails. They were very accomodating in picking out songs for the ceremony and using our suggestions. They were extremely easy to work with. I had many compliments about their performance. They sounded great! I would recommend them to anyone.
