The Amherst String Ensemble was fantastic!!! I am so grateful for everything they provided!! The music was perfect! Each performer was gracious , professional, poised and personable!! Everyone asked me how I had known to choose them!! My grandchildren, Lillian Rose(4+1/2) and Kiera(2 +1/2) love classical music; they absolutely loved it!! I only wished I had a video of the ceremony and or a taping of the elegant music!! The memories I have of this beautiful wedding will last a lifetime! The Amherst String Ensemble was superb! I simply cannot say enough about how thrilled we all were to have them provide excellent service for 'The Wedding of The Century'!!!!

Their music set the mood for one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever been to. Watching the bride walking with her dad to the Canon processional brought tears to my eyes. All the music the Amherst String Quartet played was a delight to listen to. It was elegant and beautifully performed. Conversation was easy during the cocktail hour and the mood was enhanced by the soft strings playing familiar classics in the background. I believe it was because of their music that my daughter had the wedding she and I had always dreamed of! Thanks for making our dreams come true!

The trio was on time, played immediately, and were very friendly and professional. The music quality was amazing, and everyone commented on how the music made our wedding venue really stand out from the rest that they had been to, and everyone complemented the sound as not too loud, and the selections very appropriate for a ceremony setting. I'll recommend the Amherst String Ensemble to everyone that has interest in a string performance. You guys were Aces!

The Amherst String Ensemble played for our parish on Christmas Eve and were well received by all. We have had a brass quartet over the years and decided to change it up this year. The change was so refreshing. The musicians were all excellent very professional. The atmosphere in the parish was brought up to a higher level because of what their music added to the service - simply heavenly!

This is a long overdue rating! Three musicians from the Amherst String Ensemble performed at our wedding in Middletown, Connecticut last year. They found two special pieces of music for me and were incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. They sounded spectacular. Our guests raved about both their playing at the church and during our cocktail hour (which I sadly missed due to pictures!). We received a dvd of our wedding recently and it featured the work of the trio, most of which I didn't get to hear or see, and it reminded me of the wonderful work they did. Thank you so much for being part of our day - everything was superb!

The Amherst Ensemble exceeded our expectations. They added the highest degree of elegance to our Wedding. They conducted themselves in a very professional manner from start to finish. The music was beautiful and we receive many compliments from our guests. All of the music played during the wedding ceremony were songs we chose, so they were not part of their normal repertoire. Even so, they played them flawlessly. During the cocktail hour, they played from their normal repertoire and we were pleasantly surprised by the breadth of selections they played. We highly recommend anyone looking for a reasonably priced ensemble to consider the Amherst Ensemble.
