Lou was great to work with. We hired Lou to play our wedding ceremony music and part of cocktail hour. He even helped us with the musical selections! I would recommend Lou for a traditional wedding or corporate event and would not hesitate to have him perform for us again. Lastly, we booked very close to the wedding date so needed someone who would respond quickly and provide helpful suggestions. Aside from the Piano placement which made it hard to see the cues for the ceremony (not Lou's fault), we were very pleased with his work!

Lou Walinsky was extremely accommodating in that he came to the after wedding brunch well prepared to play all the music which my daughter requested! He was very cheerful, and his music was outstanding. Many people asked me where I found him :) He also did the announcements and even improvised with some very appropriate music,for instance, at the cutting of the cake. I highly recommend his services.

Not only was Lou able to work with us in a short time period, we were able to communicate with very little capability from Hurricane Sandy. He made a complete play set from our phone conversation and was able to learn some "french themed" songs to complement our engagement party theme. Lou was dressed very well and his personality was exceptional. To top off this overall experience, just listen to him play and you will understand why Lou received 5 stars.

We thoroughly enjoyed having Mr. Walinsky and his associate play at my mother's 60th birthday party. We hired them as a duo on keyboard and stand-up bass. Mr. Walinsky coordinated with his associate and he was very easy to work with, making the reservation process simple. Everyone at our party commented on how much they enjoyed the music and how it added to the atmosphere of the party. I would definitely recommend for him for any special occasion. Lou played piano for my dad's 80th birthday party at my home. My dad said that having Lou there was "the icing on the cake" of a wonderful surprise party. Lou accommodated all of our requests for ragtime, swing and other 40's music as well as some more contemporary pieces that we asked for. Lou arrived early to set up and was willing to drive 2 hours to get here for a 2 hour performance. We all enjoyed his performance and he made the party complete.

My overall experience with Mr. Walinsky (Lou) was great. He is very professional, from being on time and ready to go during the time my guests were arriving, throughout the affair and until the very end when the last guest left. I can not express how wonderful it was to work with Lou. Not only was he professional and personable, my dughter's wedding reception took place during the flash flooding in Ivyland where 5 inches of rain fell in less than an hour. The front of the Spring Mill Manor was under four feet of water and there was Lou wading in from the parking lot and still arrived on time and did a fabulous job! He was the best and we want to thank him for providing the perfect touch for our cocktail hour. And he even managed to stay dry!!!
