Kano was extremely pleasant and professional. He was accessible throughout the planning and flexible with our last minute scheduling issues which in my book gives him extra points! Guests loved his playing. He arrived early, played beautifully. He made the cocktail hour a huge success. He plays a lot of cool venues around town so we had ample opportunity to hear his work. I would not hesitate to book him again, and give him my highest recommendations!

Kano played his flamenco guitar at our annual office Christmas party in North Hollywood. He provided beautiful background music for the event and also took the time to share information about the history of flamenco to our group. Kano was incredible. He was extremely prompt, professional, accommodating, and generous with his time. He has great energy and the music he played was absolutely beautiful. He made it feel like Spain. Kano was the perfect artist to perform at my friend's wedding. I highly recommend him.

Kano actually contacted us to request a cancellation so that he could play for another event he preferred. This was disappointing, but he found us a replacement. However, he did not fill in his replacement with any of the details we had discussed.. so 2 days before the wedding, I received an e-mail from the new guitarist wanting to know what time to arrive, what ceremonial song to play (he didn't even know that he was playing at the reception, not ceremony, later that evening), etc.. Kano music sounds great, but I was really disappointed with how he handled our event. Thankfully his replacement was talented, kind, accommodating, and an even better musician.

I'm very sorry for any inconvenience and I do hope you had a wonderful wedding. As far as the "cancellation," yes I did have another gig, but I was quick to speak, not only with you, but with your wedding coordinator at least three weeks before the event. I wanted to make sure you checked off on any changes, which is why we discussed the situation in detail. If there had been a problem with having another guitarist, I made it clear I would not accept another gig. When we spoke, you were excited by my referral of another flamenco guitarist. I did inform the other guitarist of all details for your special day, but I'm sure he simply wanted to confirm with you persona

Kano showed up at 5:15 for our ceremony that was supposed to start at 5! The entire ceremony was put on hold while we waited for him and we weren't sure if he was going to come. He was supposed to arrive at 4:15 to play for our entering guests. This caused a great deal of stress because we did not have backup music. Then, he had the nerve to ask for the rest of his payment (50% still due to him) even though he showed up an hour late and only played for 30 min! He was a good guitarist but there was a lot of panic not knowing if and when he would show up. No bride should go through that.

Unfortunately the planner didn't share all details w her client. She told me to play at 5PM (This is the 1st time I'm seeing 4:15PM). I always arrive early but it was a worst-case-scenario traffic situation doubling my commute. 4PM I called the planner & said I may not arrive before 5PM. She said not a problem. I set up quickly & began shortly after 5. It was beautiful and all were happy during this lovely occasion. No one indicated my performance didn't merit payment & everyone seemed satisfied. This was the only time I couldn't arrive early & I contacted the bride after. She seemed understanding which is why this review surprises me. I wish them the best

Kano was a pleasure to work with, he returned calls and emails promptly and really took the time to find out what we were looking for. He played on the beach prior to our wedding ceremony and he was amazing, all the guests commented on how beautifully he played. I highly recommend him for any occasion.

Kano was terrific. He was very responsive, both initially and when selecting music. He always followed up on logistics to make sure we were in sync. He and his playing partner, Caroline, we're a real highlight of the wedding. Their exceptional talent was evident from the first note of the ceremony through the final song of the reception. We are impressed with Kaño's talent and graciousness. He filled our home with the music of traditional flamenco songs, sharing his skill and passion with our family, making it a warm and engaging experience. He also played some more contemporary Spanish guitar for us. He will be remembered for years to come. He was also very accommodating to change requests. We highly recommend this performer!
