Dale and his assistant were wonderful at our event. They read the crowds interest like a good book and was quick to adjust the music to suit our needs. Also, I was delighted with their appearance, their non rushed manner in the evening and their crowd interaction. They were able to get everyone involved with their interactive games and transitioned activities with ease. They are highly recommended by us and will actually respond to you in a timely manner.

Dale is a true professional. His equipment is top notch, and he created a fun party zone. He mixed karaoke and music for us very well. Our only wish was that he played more songs from our request list. But he adapted easily to our requests. His website is a great tool to specify playlists and instructions. It saved a lot of email back and forth. Highly recommended!

Thank your for the great feedback. However, I'd like to talk about your statement "Our only wish was that he played more songs from our request list". I began the evening by playing the selections on your song list. However, your husband and his best friend each approached me seperately and asked me to change the music I was playing because the guests were unhappy and were beginning to leave. I told the gentlemen that these songs were what YOU requested, and showed them the playlist. They each told me to "just play some Hip Hop" and that they would talk to you about it. They did a great job getting a few songs ahead of time, that were not on their list, which was much appreciated. However, they sometimes did not play songs guests requested during the party or took quite a while to play them. I got a few complaints from my guests.

I thought Dale did a good job, but he DID NOT PLAY the majority of the songs I requested on his website!! My party was at 5 star hotel and I requested that he wear a suit and he showed up in a shirt and pants!! (NOT HAPPY) He was very nice and played songs I asked after I requested them, but I spent hours on his website picking the songs I wanted and to NOT have them played was EXTEREMLY DISAPPOINTING!!!!! The theme of my party was Purple and to NOT play Purple Rain was a big let down Even my guests wondered why it was NOT PLAYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In fact at least 15 people asked for business cards that evening, including to your photographer and Whoopi Goldberg impersonator. We were very disappointed with EpideMix. The wedding itself was very beautiful and wonderful. On the other hand, every single audio and visual need we required was not met. The microphones during our reception made awful noises and we completely missed the father of the bride and father of the groom's toasts. The projection screen malfunctioned and the songs we had discussed in length were not played. In fact, the style of music we discussed was completely ignored. We believed we could trust Dale and really believed in him. We were very disappointed and feel we wasted a lot of time and money.

Well as the old saying goes: "You can't please everybody." Even as much as I tried to accommodate your needs. First, the projection system worked as it's supposed to. However, the wedding planner wanted the screen to be up on a table instead of the floor, not taking into consideration that the projector would NOT be on the same level as the screen causing a loss in picture. Second, I played much of what you wanted and much of what your guests requested. Alot of what was on your list was not dancable for your guests and they requested other selections. And lastly, ONE of the mics malfuctioned. That's why I carry FOUR. I replaced the bad one and all was fine.

Do not hire. No communication. DJ did not even make it! Sent his assistant. Assistant arrived more than 2 1/2 hours late! Guests were already at the party. No play list! Stated his hard drive had been erased. Music too loud, kept asking for him to turn it down the guests could not even talk. Parked his truck in the middle of the driveway so when the caterer and band went to clean up, he was blocking. My husband had to leave his son's party to bring in the equipt. Do not hire.

I enjoyed the music choices that he played. He was exceptionally kind and professional with his work. There were no difficulties or any problems with the set up/ clean up/ or appropriateness of the music at this particular party. Thank you again dj epidemix!
