I thought Charlie did a good job overall.

I could have done a better job if the corporate client had listened to my concerns prior to the event. They wanted dancing & karaoke for 300+ guests for 2 hours. Guests would dance, then someone wanted to sing, upsetting people dancing. Company did not wish to extend booking time or divide dancing/singing time into separate periods, leaving dozens of people vocally unhappy because they didn't get to sing or dance enough. 1 hour of Karaoke allows for 15 songs. Mixing karaoke + dancing + not enough time = 2 very upset groups & 1 frustrated DJ. With better planning, this could have been a 5 star event, making everyone happy.

We hired Charlie for our wedding reception. Everyone had a great time and Charlie and his music have a lot to do with that. He has a great combination of singing and DJ songs. When a guy wants to throw his brother a 30th birthday karaoke costume party, that special. When your brother is Chris Rolandelli, a band manager for major recording artists and had friends attending like Scott Phillips, the drummer of platinum recording artist Creed, well, the pressure steps up a notch or two. Charlie didn't miss a beat! Between the great DJ mixes, the professional Karaoke emcee work, and the dazzling light show, the birthday bash was a tremendous hit. "Charlie was absolutely wonderful," Mike Rolandelli exclaimed as the night was coming to a close. "He performed overtime and was a polished professional. My brother's party was a great success and Charlie was a huge reason, right there taking care of every request." It doesn't get any tougher for a performer than entertaining his own peers, especially when some of them are superstars in their own right. "Charlie is the man," exclaimed birthday boy Chris. Charlie and I will definitely be working together again real soon. Charlie was great! He was hired on very short notice to play guitar and piano for our Pensacola Mardi Gras kick off party and came through like a true professional. Switching between acoustic guitar, piano, then performing with his back up midi sequenced drum tracks, he gave the crowd exactly what they wanted as the night went on. Add to that his singing ability and showmanship, well, our Krewe got their money's worth and more. I recommend Charlie to anyone looking for a professional quality entertainer. Charlie was an amazing wedding DJ! He was so easy going, super nice, and totally on point. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were perfect! He is seriously a wedding expert, as a crazy bride you can put all of your trust into him. The music was on trend and exactly what we wanted. The client login system online is great to pick music from and send messages. We had picked some slightly obscure music that he had no problem delivering. He seamlessly took our guests requests, and incorporated them into the reception. I highly recommend!!!!!

I can't say enough about Charlie Roberts. I was very nervous about booking a DJ for the wedding, but I read all his past reviews and he lived up to them and more. He was great with my guests, played all the music they requested and everything we asked as well. He was able to bring Polka's and Latin music together without a hitch. He also played an acoustic set for the wedding ceremony that was great. I can't say enough about him, He is the DJ for any event.
