DJ Shon provided excellent service to my daughter's party. I would highly recommend him and use him for future events. The party goers enjoyed themselves and danced throughout the nice; he was accommodating and handled all requests. I really appreciate the fact that the music he played was age appropriate. Shon was nice and showed up on time, but he made several errors in the delivery of announcements. He didn't speak up so people could hear him - I had to ask him to be louder. I had several guests tell me he looked very bored. He just stood and played music. Overall he was ok except the couple errors he made - it's a case of you get what you pay for.

I was very disappointed my wedding reception was ruined due to the DJ not announcing anything I personally had to go tell him will you please announce our first dance he did not follow anything I had told him I gave him a list in order of everything I wanted him to announce and all my music in order he did not play he left the hall and was gone for over a hour I started cleaning the hall at 9 pm all my guest had left due to no entertainment it was a disaster I wish I would of never hired him he didn't announce anything regarding what I had asked him to do I had no toast for me and my groom due to him not following direction what a memory of horrible day for me .

I talk to her many times, and did NOT get this reaction. All announcements were made in order, late start because the bride stress. They did NOT follow the order in which I was given in instructions. All playlist and request were played, I have a log of it. Also most of the quest ate dinner and left shortly afterward, including some of the bridle party the rest of the quest were gone my 10:30pm, but around 15 people, in which I did ask her if she wanted shut down the event. She told me "I just want to ring in the new year". at 11pm there only 6 people when I was instructed to stop playing music and go. I informed the client I will stay until midnight.

While DJ Shon seems like a nice guy. He was horrible as a Dj. He was not exciting as a Master of Ceremony. He had no excitement in his voice as he introduced my wedding party. He mixed up the names of everyone. There was no blue lighting as he stated he would have. I specifically requested songs from an African singer named Daddy Lumba. Dj Shon said he found all the songs I requested from YouTube. He played NONE of those songs. A guest of mine was trying to assist him in locating songs though Youtube, he had trouble with that. He played songs that were scratched/skipping? Unfortunately. DJ Shon was a total disappointment. Sorry, but I would not recommend him.

Morning, In my defense, to claims against my quality of service. The lack of certain lighting was due to the fact, there were 2 very large skylights, lighting ineffective until almost the end of event, this is reason also no spot light for the first dance. All of the songs listed that the client ask were played including additional, requested by her guest NOT on her list. There was a line guest requesting African music to be played, including from the Groom. And to say that she was disappointed is shocking, as she stopped the party in the middle everyone dancing early. I'm sorry you felt this way, it seems you and your guest had a great time dancing.

Music selection was very dry. No new music. A lot of songs are remixes and not original versions. The versions he has are not good. DJ Shon was professional but not fun. Not good for big parties. Will not book again.

DJ Shon was very nice and very worth his fee and while he sounded great to the adults, the kids told us that he didn't play some requested popular songs and actually played a few hit songs more than once. He won't play explicit language, which we appreciated, so maybe that was part of the issue. But overall worth the price. Thanks DJ Shon!
