Only positive things to say! Dana, the band manager is so organized, the planning process was wonderful. They helped us every step of the way! Presentation was flawless and each transition was smooth. Flexible even when asked to change something last minute. They read the crowd kept everyone dancing. On the dance floor were young adults, children, and even grandparents. My dad, most skeptical about the band, said getting the band was THE best decision we made, he said he could not have been happier about their professionalism and performance. Everyone was telling us at the wedding how much they loved the band and they are still talking about it 2 months later!

AMAZING!! Groove Place was fabulous!! The band seriously made my wedding reception PERFECT!! Everyone was dancing the entire night!! I received so many compliments from the guests-even 4 weeks after the wedding! Groove Place was so easy to work with. Dana, the band manager was so flexible with scheduling around my crazy schedule. He is extremely pleasant and all around the easiest vendor in my entire wedding planning that I had to work with. I had so many special requests and they fulfilled them ALL! "So what can I say. Some professionals are dedicated and some go over the top. Groove place went over the top. Anyone could have canceled their sevrvices based on the biggest hurricane of the decade but not Groove Place they showed up ready to rock the crowd which they did. I cannot thank them enough for sticking it out and making our daughter's wedding a huge success. How bout learning the song Rock me like a Hurricane with hours to spare so the bride and groom could use this for their entrance song. They are all great people and very down to earth. You have a very simple question to ask yourselves, "Do we want our guests to dance and have a phenomenal time at our reception?" If your answer is yes, then your immediate first step is to hire Groove Place as your band. They are an incredible band, beyond professional and accomodating and very talented. See them live and you'll know it at once. Not only was hiring them the easiest decision we made, it was the one we were most confident about, and we never had to worry about how they'd be received. They were even kind enough to comply when all of our guests chanted "one more song" at evening's end (2x in fact). Book them and they'll handle the rest - Matt and Allison

Quite simply, Groove Place was the best wedding band imaginable. We could not have been more pleased! They were courteous and responsive -- the coordinator at our reception site indicated to us that they were very organized and professional. They also were very accommodating -- our first dance song, our father/daughter song, and our mother/son song were not on their play list, but they mastered them. We got a ton of compliments from our guests, including "best band we've ever heard at a wedding!" They were really entertaining, and the voices and musicianship were top notch. We really cannot recommend them highly enough -- they were great, and we had a blast!

Hired for my boyfriend's 50th birthday. They were excellent!!!! Friends & family continue to tell us what a great time they had!! The band interacted with our guests. Young and old danced all night!! The dance floor was never empty. They were only took 2 short breaks. Very professional. Met with them before the party & told them our expectations & they were met in every way!!. 2 days before the party we called requesting "Happy Birthday" in Polish & they found it & played it perfectly. Trust me, if you hire Groove Place, you will not be disappointed!!! We have definitely become a Groove Place Groupie & only wish we could do this every weekend!!!!!

The Groove Place was fantastic! The vocalists were outstanding as was the band. The performers interacted and engaged exceptionally well with the crowd throughout the evening. They knew how to tone it down during the dinner hour and how kick it up to get the party going!

We were lucky to have such a beautiful day on our wedding day. On top of that, we were fortunate enough to have the trifecta - an amazing venue, delicious food and a band that simply rocked the house! The band leader was very professional, accommodating and extremely considerate from the early planning days through the end of the reception. I have a big Cuban family, so incorporating Spanish music was important. They were able to bring in a latin singer for a small set that really impressed my family! The rest of the night was filled with all the songs we wanted to hear. Thanks Groove Place for making sure everyone was on the dance floor!!! We highly recommend!!!

I wish we could rate them on a higher scale then just a 5! Talk about an amazing band! Our friends and family wont stop talking about how fabulous our wedding was because of Groove Place. We even extended the wedding an hour because we weren't ready to stop the party and they were more then accommodating! We had some special requests due to my father passing and they were compassionate about all my requests. We can't thank Groove Place enough for doing exactly what we wanted and for making our wedding day one to go down in the books! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Having Groove Place at our wedding was the best decision we made!!! All our guests danced all night. They all told us this was the best wedding band they have every seen. They were so easy to work with, accommodating, and professional. If you want a band that are true professional musicians, that can read the energy of the group and play their hearts out then Groove Place is the right choice! easy to work with, responsive, experienced, talented, caring, shredding guitar solo from micheal jackson, sax player in the middle of the dance floor soloing, my buddy on stage playing guitar with the band, mustang sally, trumpet players dancing together to the song, lead singers have great voices, frank sinatra... all memorable moments... i could go on for hours. these guys seriously rock. Dana is so awesome. trust him with your event and he'll have everyone dancing and having a blast. people still tell us how awesome the band was.. i wish we could do it again. if we could, choosing the band this time would be much easier :)

Groove Place was incredible! We heard tons of compliments from our guests. They had people on the dance floor before dinner was even served and they were fantastic at interacting with the crowd. They were very flexible, even playing for an extra hour when asked mid-reception. They managed the set list to keep the crowd dancing plus included our favorite songs in the mix. Dana was super responsive through the planning process; a huge help as we planned our Pennsylvania wedding from Atlanta. I highly recommend Groove Place! Book them and your reception band will be the last thing you need to worry about in your wedding planning.

While planning our wedding we knew that having a great band is really the most important aspect of a wedding reception. Groove Place completely exceeded our expectations. They had people on the dance floor all night. I remember looking out at the reception and almost no one was seated at their tables. Grooveplace made our wedding a huge success! Everyone (even those that don't dance) was on the dance floor from start to finish. What can I say about Groove Place that would let the next person know just how wonderful they are??? I could sit and write 500 words, or I could just say Groove Place, in my book was "OUTSTANDING" "WONDERFUL" "TALENT" "VOICES", they were the BEST band I have seen in a very long time. Groove Place had the entire party dancing and we received an overwhelming response from our wedding guests. Everybody LOVED them! They are easy to work with, professional, motivated, take a deep interest in your special event, had the best price and blew the roof off the party. Let me begin by saying that my wife and I are music nerds. Dana and his team were extremely kind and considerate. They offered to let me play a song with the band, learned four songs and helped us craft a set list that hit all the right notes. They sounded as good as or better than any of the bands we ever looked at; and I’m including bands that cost FIVE TIMES as much. Guests remarked how some songs sounded just like the originals and the energy and musicianship were absolutely fantastic. The Groove Place performed for my nephews wedding this past month. They were absolutely magnificent. A family member said he had not danced in years, but the music moved him to dance. YOU will never regret the decision to have Groove place be a part of your very special day. The food was delicious the Bride was beautiful, but when it was all said and done the one thing that everyone was still talking about was the dancing and the music. This group was a pleasure to work with from the moment we met. They took our "Havana" theme and hired a few extra singers to create the sound we were looking for. They are flexible and will do what it takes to make your evnt a success. The instrumentalists were absolute professionals and the singers were extremely talented.
Besides that, Grooveplace is filled with a great group of individuals that are passionate about their music. The American Heart Association is glad they had the opportunity to work with Grooveplace and looks forward to working with them on future events.
