Armando started singing at the young age of 8 years old. He sang in choir eventually achieving the honors choir level, and having much success in local & school talent shows. He was voted most talented in his senior class. After graduating high school, Armando toured the world visiting more than 8 countries and 42 states with the US army soldier show, entertaining and doing what he loves most. He developed a love for classical pieces and later found comfort in contemporary artists of a variety of styles, including Babyface, Michael Jackson, George Michael, Eddie Vedder, and Dave Mustaine. He has also found notoriety in the Latin community by competing in nationally televised shows such as Cante y Gane and Tengo Talento Mucho Talento. An eclectic lover of music, Armando is also the lead singer of a rock band who has succeeded in winning the Mark and Brian battle of the bands in 2009 where they opened for Hank Williams Jr and Lynyrd Skynyrd. They also won the Ernie Ball battle of the bands, which enabled them to perform in the Vans Warped Tour in 2010. His rich soulful style combined with his sweet melodic voice evokes the many styles that have influenced him over the years.
Richard Owen (Hughes III)
Richard is originally from western Pennsylvania and has been a guitarist since his teenage years in both cover projects and original music. His early musical influences while living on the east coast included classic rock groups such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Yes, and ELP. After performing in rock cover acts for several years, Rich discovered his love of acoustic guitar and singer songwriters such as Neil Young, the Eagles, Jim Croce, as well as Crosby, Stills and Nash. At that time he began performing as a soloist and in acoustic-based acts. As a solo artist he developed a love for alternate guitar tunings, which he often utilizes as a performer. After moving to CA about fifteen years ago, Rich has performed in several LA based acoustic groups (Velvet Echo and Rising Fall), and also performs with the inland empire based trio Storyteller. Richard met Armando while teaching high school, and first performed with him at the Schurr High School talent show during Armando's senior year.
