If you want live classical music at your wedding, Dana Starkell is a MUST have. Dana is not just amazingly talented at classical guitar, he is professional, responsive and was willing to do whatever it took to make our day perfect. Throughout the process, he kept in communication with updates and was very helpful whenever we had questions. At our ceremony, he was simply fantastic. His music was the perfect touch to our ceremony. It provided a comfortable elegance that we were hoping for and we heard numerous comments throughout the evening about how beautiful the music was. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone for their wedding or other special event.

Dana was absolutely perfect for the dinner party wedding rehearsal for my son and his fiancee at the Ft. Worth Blue Mesa Restaurant on June 9, 2006. His music was very elegant as well as his performance and mannerisms. I would highly recommend Dana Starkell for any occasion that needs beautiful, soft romantic guitar classical music. I can't compliment him enough. He simply added a gentle romantic atmosphere for our family's evening and we thought he was just great! He added the perfect touch to a beautiful evening! We were extremely pleased with Dana’s overall talent and everything he played sounded beautiful. There was a good balance of volume and many guests complimented they could hear the music well across the room and the people seated right next to him were not "blasted" away.
I would totally recommend Dana to a friend for an event requiring live music. We loved it and we loved that everyone else enjoyed it as well.
Dana is an extremely outgoing and comfortable performer. It’s clearly noticeable how much passion he has for his music and that he loves what he does for a living. We were extremely grateful to find him available and willing to travel to Coralville!

Dana was wonderful to work with for our wedding! We communicated mostly through email, but he was always quick in response and the selections of music he gave us made it so simple to choose our songs. It was nice that he had samples of the music on his website so we could hear it ahead of time. We had numerous guests come up to us after the ceremony and compliment the beautiful guitar music Dana played. He was very professional but also laid back enough that it was easy to talk to him about what we wanted - he was very accommodating. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who loves the sound of classical guitar!!

When Dana was asked to perform and speak at the Mentoring Program’s end of the year celebration, he did not hesitate. With two of our four children taking Classic Guitar lessons for 18 + years (the Groom & his sister, Kina) we feel we chose the BEST with Dana. Accompanied by our other Son's violin teacher, (13 yrs.) A total professional, Dana arrived early to set up, and continued with the presentation even when the computer equipment on our end failed to work smoothly. He even went over his scheduled time (which was fine with the audience) in order to given a more complete presentation, He also stayed later allowing time for questions. Comments I received after the event from audience members were all positive. I plan to have him back in the near future in an expanded format.

Dana was one of our favorite wedding vendors. He is extremely professional and quick to respond to all correspondence from the initial request for information through our wedding day. This was greatly appreciated when planning a wedding! He was really flexible with meeting times and was great to work with figuring out unique songs for our ceremony. We had a lot of compliments from our guests that they loved the music, and Dana really made the extra effort to make our ceremony special for us. We definitely recommend him for any event!
