Doug is very talented and professional. He came in for a corporate event and I was amazed at how much everyone liked this concept-people hovered around him to see his wonderful caricatures take shape-and laughter was all I heard the whole time. He was busy the entire time without a break!

I do not have the words to express how incredible Doug was. His caricatures were better than I could have imagined. Our staff absolutely loved his work. His ability to draw everyone so well and in any scene you desire is great, making each one unique to that person (or people). Doug was very accomodating and stayed an additional 1/2 hour to complete everyone who wanted one. If you have Doug at your party you will be sure that everyone leaves happy and will talk about his work for days afterwards.

When I wasn't sure how to entertain 13 year old girls for a sleepover, this seemed like a fun idea but it was a gamble, after all they are middle school girls so who really knows what they'll like! I was so thrilled that the girls enjoyed Doug and his talent and would definitely recommend him to others!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Caricature Concepts! He work was amazing and the kids and adults loved his work. He was very professional, accommodating, on time and he even added a little something extra special to the pictures that we had discussed prior to the event that made the caricature pictures a little more special and fitting for our party. Every child was thrilled to have their caricature done and went home with a memorable piece of artwork. I absolutely would recommend him to others as I plan on having him again in the future. I hired Mr. Finifter to draw caricatures for 2 hours during my wedding reception, and he was an absolute hit! Children and adults alike waited in line to get their caricatures drawn, and crowded around just to watch him work. He is incredibly skilled and very imaginative. His caricatures delighted all of us, and if I'd known it was going to be this big of a hit with our guests, I would have had him come earlier so that all of the guests could sit for him. He was a total and complete professional and clearly loves what he does. Hiring him was a great decision!

I am so happy that we contracted with Doug for my daughters' birthday party! The caricatures were a real hit and Doug was extremely accommodating when asked if he could stay a bit longer for the extra requests! Doug was a wonderful addition to my daughter's party! He arrived a half hour early and was ready to go at the agreed to time. The girls all loved their pictures and he really drew the quieter girls out of their shells. The girls ranged in age from 7-19 and he was great with all of them. Most of the parents said they were going to frame the drawings. I would absolutely hire him again and I've already recommended him to my friends on FaceBook.

We had a party with 70 guests in our home for our 20th wedding anniversary. Caricature Concepts (Doug), did a great job. The guests loved his drawings and his service added an extra special element to the party that was well worth the expense. I would recommend this service for anyone thinking of a way to add something special to their event.

Worth the cost and talent. For holiday functions I would recommend bending the polices to draw two people together at once; make it something guest can remember. Other than that I was impressed on the quirkiness of his set-up and drawing time per guest.

I would have been happy to draw 2 people together. I draw "doubles" all the time! I always do the most drawings possible for the client. In this case, the restaurant was closing and there were still 3 or 4 people in line that I promised a caricature. Jennifer was a awesome Hostess, making speeches, giving out prizes, and organizing everything, so it is understandable that she may not have known how many guests were waiting for a caricature. When one lady asked if I could draw her (very young) child with her, I said there wasn't enough time because I knew there were people in line... I was able to draw fast enough to finish the line. They all loved their caricatures!

Doug's talented and fun drawings added a special element to our company's annual holiday party, and everyone enjoyed taking home their picture – which several people have said they plan to frame.
