Ron played for an event that I put together and was amazing! He did a great job playing, was very professional and extremely nice. The event was for my birthday and he was even kind enough to bring me a birthday card. There is no way you could go wrong with booking Ron for your event. I would easily recommend him to any friend.

Ron was amazing! Being a very talented back piper, he made the wedding reception magical. He made sure the event was going well and adapted to all our wishes. On top of that, he was really easy to work with, stress-free during the booking and figuring out all the little details. I cannot recommend Ron highly enough - he's really great!

Ron was wonderful! He was on time, well groomed, great personality. He even brought a birthday card for my husband. I had never done this before, so I was a little nervous and Ron and his wife made me feel assured and comfortable. He even educated us on the history of the bagpipes and the quilt. Awesome!! 5 stars all the way!

I do try very hard to be both professional and responsive to the requests of my clients. I am a bit puzzled regarding the less than stellar rating for two of these categories. The client did not attend the event and I felt that I bent over backward in every way. O.K. live and learn in all situations. I guess the playing was satisfactory. So, success on that note.

Bagpiper Ron did his part. I really only needed 30 minutes of pipes. My first time hiring a bagpiper. I would have liked some "jiggy" music played...however I did not ask him to. It was an experience...my husband was surprised however booking the entertainment for 1.5 hours would have been too long. I went to a party before that had a bag piper..the music was a little different sounding. Maybe I have my irish/scottish music confused.

I was very happy with Ron's performance. He came well ahead of time to tune up and make sure he was as prepared as possible. He also adjusted well with the slide changes of the event, even had a few good suggestions about tunes to play for the occasion and is definitely very knowledgeable of the bagpipes and the music. The audiences had several compliments for his performance as well.

Overall, our experience was fine. Ron is very talented and looked quite the part. I had expressed our want to not have a specific song played, but in the chaos prior to the service, this might have been over looked or forgotten. Over all, we were quite satisfied.

Too many cooks spoil the soup.. I played what and when I was asked to. Several people were giving me names of songs. Planning was not the best and instructions were vague at times.. Difficult to please the client when things keep changing.
