 I was exposed to a "GUMBO" of styles growing up in Louisiana.---

I also play with the band MeLange we are on gigmasters: 

I'm in the categories you listed. I Sing, play Acoustic Guitar, Electric guitar, Saxophones, Flute, Fiddle, Keyboards and Harmonicas. 

For weddings I've played Prelude music, music for Honored guest, Processional music and Recessional music.
In receptions the most common agenda has been cocktail hour, dinner, then the reception. 

I have played saxophones or acoustic guitar on instrumentals of popular songs (soft jazz tunes), at cocktail hour, dinner, fallowed by first dances. I have a wireless microphone for you and your guest to make announcements or toast right from where your seated.

Your event is about YOU, and what fits YOUR needs. I have the experience to do weddings, parties, corporate functions, any event that would like live music and done well.  (I also have a DC to AC power inverter( 9Hrs.battery life) which will power my P.A. system if the event is located on a beach or outdoors location away from electrical power.

If I could rate Jerry higher than a 5, I would. The age group at our party ranged from 5 to 74 and everyone had a great time...even the teenagers! He is not only a talented musician, but also gracious and accommodating. There was not one request that he did not play and he even performed one song twice (by request). I have seen Jerry play in bars and now at a private party and I don't think there is anywhere that he would not fit in. Jerry would be a fantastic addition to any party or gathering. Jerry was amazing and unbelievably talented! We enjoyed everything about his performance. He could play so many types of music from the classic rock we grew up with to today's country. All the different instruments he could play were exceptional. He kept us entertained all night long not only singing and playing the guitar but did so much more with the sax, flute, and the fiddle. Jerry gave our event a personal touch that was meaningful in many ways. Our party took place on our dock, and Jerry helped carry out that theme by preparing and singing a parody of "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay"...with the words changed appropriately for our 70 and over crowd. He also gave attention to my dad's 89th birthday, my 3 year old granddaughter by singing "The ABC Song", and by performing "Lean on Me", a special tribute to my friend with terminal cancer. We were literally "Dancing in the Moolight" with wonderful, lively dance tunes. Jerry was fantastic! So easy to work with and he made the night extra special. Not only did he bring the vibe of southern blues music to the cocktail hour, but he made the room feel warm and welcoming. Such a talent, highly recommend him! 

Jerry is a phenomenal musician who exceeded my expectations.  He learned the music I requested for my ceremony and performed it all beautifully.  He appealed to every guest at my reception with his versatile and fun repertoire.  That saxophone is simply the best! Combine all of this with such a nice guy, and you can't go wrong.  I highly recommend Jerry for your next event!

From the start Jerry was excellent to work with - great communications and easy to make arrangements. In short, having Jerry play really 'made' my wife's 50th Birthday party. He played multiple instruments, sang and tailored his set to the ambience of the gathering - we ended up dancing to him playing the fiddle, which was superb. If there were 6 stars on the rating I would have given him a 6 - couldn't have been better. This guy is really good and we will definitely recommend him to friends and look to hire him again in the future.
