We could not have hired a better band for our wedding. So many people came up to me throughout the night and had wonderful things to say about the Professors of Soul. Everyone wanted to know who they were and where they were from. Several people said that it was the best band they had ever seen at a wedding! We had a very large dancefloor and it was full throughout the night! I would recommend them to anyone looking to throw a great party!

For this event, we had to coordinate many acts, sponsors, and even a last-minute rain call. The Professors of Soul were so great to work with and were more than accommodating when we wanted a swing dance performance group to be able to dance with the band. We really loved having them at the event and thought it was a great fit! I would highly recommend this group to anyone!

Easily one of the best bands we've ever had. Put on a great show with good crowd interaction. Played forever. Excellent playlist. Just kept on playing as long as we could dance. I was sore from dancing the next day. I would recommend them to anyone they are a great value and more than well worth the money.

Tameka and the band provided an amazing performance! They were also very accommodating during our event, even though the weather was not at times. I highly recommend The Professors of Soul (or The Sweet Addiction Project).

The Prof of Soul did a great job working within our event's timeline and dealing with unexpected changes. The contract did state that Professors of Soul would play to 11 pm and although there were not many guests left, the band stopped playing a little after 10:30 pm. I would be interested in using the band again for the same event next year but as they were paid in full, unfortunately, they did not complete their end of thecontract agreement. I hope this is something that could be discussed. If it weren't for them ending early, I would give them 5 stars! Otherwise, we were please with their performance, interaction with the crowd and flexibility. Thank you!

The Professors of Soul was great at getting the crowd involved. However, they did not play the song we had agreed upon for the father/daughter dance which was very disappointing. The lead singer had to read the words to the first dance song as she sang and used her iphone to read lyrics while singing other songs. That does not strike me as professional. We did have a great time. They were a fun band, played a very long time before taking a break, and overall we were pleased. Maybe the lead singer was a fill-in. She was not the same person we saw performing when we decided to book them.

Excellent. They were responsive to my emails, perfect with our song requests, on time, sounded great, and led the reception and interacted with the crowd. Could not be happier with our choice of the Professors of Soul!
