Chacon/Smith Panamerican Guitar Duet Latin Band from Chicago, IL

The Chacon/Smith PanAmerican Guitar Duet is the partnership of Chilean master guitarist Alfonso Chacon, and his apprentice, Neil Dixon Smith. This classical guitar duet primarily performs music of Latin America, from Argentine tangos, to Brazilian bossa novas, to Cuban son, to Mexican huapango, to Colombian cumbias, including great works of South American classical guitar by composers such Augustin Barrios and Antonio Lauro. They also mix classic works of Spanish classical guitar, and other surprises, such as the Hungarian dance Czardas and a wicked guitar version of Zorba the Greek. The Chacon/Smith PanAmerican duet is perfect for any event that seeks classy, soulful music performed at a high level.
