Raise the Roof!'s members are an interesting mix: covering the gamut from twenty-something prodigies to seasoned professional musicians, they all have one mission in common: they take music seriously, they know their stuff up and down, and they really, really love working together. At eight to eleven pieces, the band's full-bodied sound features four vocalists, two horn players and two keyboardists in addition to guitar, bass and drum set with percussion. Their repertoire is oriented toward large parties, weddings, corporate events and functions and, like the band itself, covers lots of musical territory. From Bruno Mars and Beyoncé to Journey, Earth Wind & Fire and Ol' Blue Eyes himself, Raise the Roof! is continually caching an enormous, decades-spanning collection of popular party music.
