Classically trained on violin, MJ has been playing music since childhood. With her ability to play by ear, she provides a classical twist to contemporary songs. Whatever event you may have, whether it be for a wedding, corporate event, cocktail hour or gallery opening, MJ looks forward to sharing her passion for music with you. MJ is available as a solo violinist or as a violin-piano duo, the New Classics, with pianist Chris Cerrato. Her versatile range includes pop, rock, hip-hop, folk, oldies, standards, Broadway musicals, and world music. She has performed at a wide variety of weddings and events in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work includes studio recordings and music video appearances, including projects for international recording artists and a Grammy nominee.
