Kimberly is a professional Violist available to perform for weddings, events, proposals, gallery openings etc. In addition, she is available for recordings and is available to travel when available. Violist Kimberly Musial began her musical studies at the age of eight and has concertized in the United States, Canada, Greenland, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden and Norway. She has performed as a member of the Woodlands and Baytown Symphonies, Orchestra X, the Milwaukee Chamber Music Festival, The String Orchestra of Brooklyn and the Bard Conductor's Institute Orchestra. As an orchestral musician, Mrs. Musial has performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Hermann Outdoor Theater and the Verizon Center and has had the opportunity to work with some of the worlds most renown conductors such as Kurt Masur, Andre Previn and John Rutter. Kimberly Musial is the owner of the contemporary ensemble, Luminous Sounds Inc., which is a young, energetic music ensemble that performs todays modern, popular music arranged for strings as well as traditional chamber repertoire. Mrs. Musial received her Bachelor of Music Degree with honors from the University of Houston, Moores School of Music as a student of Rita Porfiris. She continued her studies at the Longy School of Music as a student of Patricia McCarty. Kimberly also holds a Master of Science degree in Arts Administration from Shenandoah University, an Advanced Certificate in Music Education from CUNY Queens College, and an Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership from St. John's University. In addition to her performing and teaching, Kim is the Music Ministry Assistant at Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle, Smithtown, NY.
