Jijjy Von (Vocalist/Entertainer)
Meet Jijjy Von and step into a world of musical splendor, excitement and emotion. Ms Von's charismatic personality projects a warm and sincere love for her music and audience. This multi-talented star sings, dances, plays harmonica, belts out the blues or silences the nosiest audiences with her soft approach to ballads and jazz standards. She can leave you lost in a rhythmic world of excitement with her strong and soulful contemporary renditions. Truly a star. Jijjy Von possesses that special commitment, love, desire dedication. Ms. Von has appeared with Big Pete Pearson, Arizona's King of the Blues, Legendary Entertainer Chubby Checker, George Benson, Famous Jazz guitar player, Jimmy Smith, Legendary Hammond B3 Player, Jazz Vocalist Dennis, former lead Vocalist with Count Basie Band, Joey Navarro, Musical Director for Sister Sledge, The Roscoe Taylor Band, and Jazz Drummer Dave Cook.
Brian (guitar & vocals)
Grew up in Vestal, New York where he began playing guitar at the age of 12. Brian has played in a variety of bands ever since moving from New York to Colorado and finally settling in Arizona in 1985. His musical influences include The Beatles, Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Steely Dan and Jeff Gollub.
Joe (keyboard & vocals)
Discovered to have special musical talent at the age of three by local musicians. Quickly, Joe began private lessons for the next 16 years. Had the ability to read music before reading words by the age of four, received many awards at numerous competitions year after year including nine superior ratings for solo competition held by the National Federation of Music Teachers at Arizona State University. In high school, he had the opportunity to attend the Berklee College of Music by scholarship. This allowed him to perform at the Sedona Jazz on the Rocks Festival at age sixteen with Gerry Mulligan and Grammy award winning Diane Schuur. Joe's has had the ability to share his talents in many different ways. By junior high, he was working as a pianist for churches; this has developed into a continuing career for Joe as he has served in many capacities from music director to sound engineer and consultant. Joe spent four years working as the keyboardist of the Phoenix Coyotes Band, played in the Lightening Fiddle Show with world famous entertainer Barry Van Wie in Las Vegas, and toured with other various country, rock, and jazz bands.
JT (bass & vocals)
Rounding out the band's sound with bass and backing vocals is "JT”. JT started his music career at age 12 playing guitar in Ohio. JT switched to bass to fill the seat in an up & coming rock band in Youngstown, Ohio when he was just 16. This experience on bass ignited a passion for being part of great rhythm section. Military service took him to various places around the world, but wherever he landed a band soon developed. JT settled in the Phoenix area in 1995 and quickly established himself as a talented and reliable player who always brings a positive twist to any gig. In the last 10 years, JT has solidified his reputation as a great bass player who can handle almost any gig, regardless of the musical style. His solid playing style, keen musical ear and sharp wit combine to make him a vital part of our band's style and genuine sound.
