Patrick Ray Odom Variety Singer from Tyler, TX

Patrick Odom lives in Tyler TX and has been singing and entertaining for 30 years. He started playing the drums in Jr. High and formed a band in High School called "The Blue Souls and in Junior College, "The Scarabs", while in Tyler Texas. He became a professional entertainer in 1972 while working in Dallas, TX, performing in various bands called "Solid Gold", a disco band, "Double D", a country band, "Ace and Edsels", an oldies band, and "The Blues Browsers", a classic rock and blues band and most recently "Double Take", a classic rock, country and oldies duo band. He currently is performing as a solo guitarist and vocalist utilizing studio backing tracks. He was drafted in the Army and decided to make the stay more fun so he organized a post band and played at the Officers and Enlisted Men's club on weekends to earn cash to go home. The Army base had a talent competition so Patrick entered his band. They one "first" place and Patrick was named "Entertainer of the Year"! He received a letter of commendation in his personnel file for outstanding dedication and commitment to his unit.
