John Garafalo E N T E R T A I N E R As a cross-over singer, actor and theatrical host, John Garafalo has delighted audiences locally and all over the world. His versatile style of singing and beautiful voice has taken him to heights far beyond his native Upstate New York beginnings. From his hometown of Hudson, NY, to numerous concerts in New York's Albany Capital District, to England's most prestigious Cathedrals, to the historical towns of Bremen, Germany, Gdansk and Warsaw, Poland, and the Merche Region of Italy, John has encompassed a variety of memorable performances. John Garafalo has performed in numerous Oratorios and staged productions throughout Upstate New York's Capital Region, including solo performances of sacred music for the Catholic Diocese and the City of Albany. Other performances include soloist in "Handel's Messiah", Verdi's Requiem" and Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana", which he performed in the renowned Troy City Music Hall. As a chorus member with the Lake George Opera Company in Upstate New York, he has also opened the ceremonies for the IBEW's Third District Regional Convention at the Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic City with the "National Anthem" the past three season's. John recently made his singing debut with the “Schenectady Symphony Orchestra” at the historic “Proctor's Theater” in Schenectady, NY., and with the International Opera Performance Experience” program at the Mercatello Musical Festival in Italy. Having brought his talents to Las Vegas, he has headlined at the SunCoast Hotel & Casino, Sam's Town, Gold Coast and South Point Casino's as well as appearing as the opening act for the legendary comedian Norm Crosby. John continues to perform throughout the Las Vegas area as both a singer and actor. In recent year's, John has taken a turn from strictly classical fare to the world of "crossover"- developing his repertoire into the genre of Broadway, Jazz, Standards and currently Pop music. His new release “I Never Thought That I Would Have To Let You Go” went to #8 on the “Dance Charts” and #5 on the “Crossover Artist” charts with “Star Fleet Record Pool” and climbed to #1 on “NDJamzRadio”. Currently promoted by “Dean Jackson Promotions” and “Sobel Nation Promotions”, his recording has reached over 7 Countries World Wide and numerous markets in the U.S. Including his concerts abroad, John has enlightened a multitude of audiences with his selections. His appearances at Italian Festivals, singing beautiful operatic excerpts and Neapolitan songs and his personalized shows, encompassing the distinctive cross over and popular repertoire, have now become a main-stream event for John Garafalo.
