My husband and I loved the band but also all of my friends commented on what a GREAT band we had. People danced all night! Big Daddy and the Heavyweights made it a wonderful night.

I can't even begin to tell you how much we loved having Big Daddy Rhythm play at our 2008 New Year's Eve Party at The Country Club of Johnston County. From the moment I read about them on Gigmasters and contacted them for more information until the end of the party, Vincent McDougald and the band thoroughly exceded my expectations. They were very professional throughout the booking process and were easily accessible for any questions I had before the event. The band is SO unbelievably talented...they play a variety of music which was perfect for the wide age range at our party (20'- 60+). We will definitely have them back at future events!

Big Daddy Rhythm and the Heavyweights absolutely made our wedding! The band is incredibly talented and just so much fun to dance to. People who never dance were out there shakin' it all night long and Big Daddy always seemed to deliver the right song at the right time. Vincent is THE MAN and he gets the crowd to participate without them ever knowing what hit them, the result being nonstop fun and a VERY crowded dance floor. These guys play so many instruments which means that all the music is live including horns which are to die for! Our junior bridesmaid wants you to play at HER wedding, so please stay together guys and thank you for giving us a perfect evening!

BDR & the heavyweights were fantastic! Everyone is still bragging about how talented they are and the wide variety of music that they are able to play. They were great to work with. They arrived on time, played all the music requested, and interacted with the crowd so well. We had so much fun at our party... they kept everyone dancing, singing & having a great time. Each of the band members adds something special to the performance. Vince even did "the worm" for us. I would highly recommend them & plan to use them again in the future!

I could not ask for a better band for my wedding. They answer every question that I had. I could contact them with any comments or concerns that I had. The guest at the wedding loved them. I would recommend Big Daddy Rhythm to every bride. If you want a band that puts your mind at ease you can not go wrong with them!

Big Daddy and the Heavyweights truly made my wedding reception a hit. The band was highly interactive with the crowd. Even my two 70 year old grandmothers got on the dance floor and turned it out :) I would highly recommend this band to others. The members were all friendly and professional. Vincent, the leader, is very easy to work with. Vincent spent a great deal of time talking with me between emails and phone calls making sure that every minute of my reception was truly what I desired. All of my special requests were met and then some. My wedding reception was amazing. It was all I imagined and more. Thanks to these amazing performers.

EVERYONE SAYS THAT THE BIGGEST PART PEOPLE REMEMBER AT A PARTY IS THE ENTERTAINMENT! THIS WAS INDEED THE CASE. WE HAD ABOUT 60 PEOPLE AT OAKBORO MUSIC HALL IN OAKBORO, NC FOR MY MOTHER'S 70TH BIRTHDAY PARTY. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT... THE FOOD, THE PLACE, THE FRIENDS, THE SUPRISE FROM MY MOM AND LAST BUT NO LEAST... BIG DADDY RHYTHM & THE HEAVYWEIGHTS. WHAT A WONDERFUL SHOW THEY PUT ON FOR US. EVERYONE IN THE BAND IS FASCINATING AT THE MULTI TALENTS THEY EXHIBIT. THEY ALL PLAY SEVERAL DIFFERENT INSTRUMENTS EACH AND THEIR SOUND WAS INCREDIBLE. NOT ONLY ARE THEY EXCELLENT PERFORMERS BUT THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB WITH CROWD PARTICIPATION. THEY HAD PEOPLE DANCING ALL NIGHT. WE CAN'T WAIT TO BOOK THEM FOR OUR COMPANY CHRISTMAS PARTY.
