Greg and the BBQ Band is based in Lexington ,NC and has been performing since 2008. Four guys and a girl are vocalists as well as musicians. Instruments include : lead and bass guitars , drums , keyboards , sax . ( second horn available for additional charge )
A variety cover band playing : Blues , Carolina Beach music , Classic rock , Top 40 , Pop, and a touch of Country. The vocals feature tight harmonies and a high energy performance by the band is a given. Some of the artists covered are: Alannnah Myles , Aretha Franklin , Bruno Mars , Christina Aguilera , Delbert McClinton , Dwight Yokum , Eric Clapton , Four Non Blondes , Journey , Michelle Branch ( Santana) , Stevie Vaughn , Stevie Wonder , Susan Tedeschi , Tones and I , ZZ Top , The best of music from yesterday and today.
Our sound engineer plays music , including line dances , when we take breaks.
Available for Anniversaries , Birthdays , Clubs , Corporate functions , Festivals , Private parties , and Wedding receptions.

They started about an hour late and took pretty long breaks throughout the show. Very nice people but I was expecting a lot more.
Greg and the BBQ Band:
My drummer arrived at 12:25pm and immediately called me as did the sound engineer (12:40)to say the stage and tent were not set up. It was 53 degrees and raining. When I arrived at 12:50 with the van and other band members, the tent was being set up and then a stage was assembled. We could do nothing until this was completed at 1:15pm. We then set up equipment and speakers under the tent. The sound engineer was also under,but behind us and had to listen and adjust by monitor We began performing at 2:35pm with no warm up. We took two 15 breaks as advertised and performed until 5:25. (original 2-5pm)The attendees interacted and were polite and complimentary. Fun groupSong List
