Dave Swenson is a versatile musician who plays guitar, bass, keyboard and violin and sings. He can play an instrumental solo gig on guitar and violin, perfect for background music at a back yard party or cocktail hour. Dave can play a program of Scandinavian fiddle music as well as an Irish fiddling program. He has a Master's degree in music. Dave has played professionally for over 40 years. Dave also plays guitar in a steel pan duo with Jim Knutson, featuring latin music of the Caribbean Islands. Dave also plays guitar and violin in a variety music trio, and electric bass in a jazz trio.

Dave Swenson played violin for my daughters’s wedding ceremony. In the months leading up to the wedding he practiced every piece of music we chose for him to play.
