Choose Grove Troupe! Groove Troupe intentionally books only 2-3 gigs a month in order to provide our undivided attention to each client. Customer service is our highest priority. We will sit down with the planners of each event, or the bride and groom in the case of a wedding, and design a specific set list based upon the client's preferences. We have only been a member of Gigmasters for a short time and we are anxious to book our first Gigmasters gig. Groove Troupe's goal is to get people on the dance floor; we are not satisfied unless everyone is having a good time. Groove Troupe is a six piece dance band. We specialize in pop/Top 40/R&B/Funk/Disco/80's new wave/Motown and soul, classic rock, Latin pop and traditional Latin music, and jazz standards from the 40's-60's. We can play a wide array of music from the 40's through 2017, or if you prefer, we can tailor our set lists to a particular genre or decade. Our band consists of a guitarist, a bass guitarist, a keyboardist, a drummer, and two vocalists. We can add a sax and trumpet player upon request. All of our members are experienced, professional musicians. Our keyboardist has played for Edgar Winter, James Barber, Ronnie Spector, Stacy Francis, Chaka Khan, Maxine Nightingale, David Sherry, Michael Duff, Taylor Dayne, The Pointer Sisters, Marian Frizelle, and many other pop and jazz greats. Our female vocalist recently concluded contracts as lead female vocalist for Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Cruise Lines, and Universal Studios Singapore. We are affordable and can work within your budget. We supply an MC for events that require an MC and we provide recorded music during any agreed upon breaks.
