I have read Tarot cards for over 20 years, and have taught others to read as well, through classes and private lessons. I am experienced reading in a variety of settings, including large crowds at parties and events like the Renaissance Faire, as well as small private home parties. I also was employed by The Psychic Eye, a large psychic store chain in Las Vegas, as a reader for both in-person and phone readings. I like to make the experience memorable for those that are getting readings, and match the energy to the event I am at. For example, I usually keep the tone light and optimistic, but can be more "spooky" or "mysterious" if at a Halloween party. I also try to balance the entertainment aspect of a reading while also being real enough to make it more than an "act." Most guests are curious and sometimes nervous to get a reading if it is their first time, so I make sure I am approachable, friendly, and inviting. I can do a range of reading types/lengths, from 1-3 cards (5-10 minutes) to a full 10-card reading (15+ minutes). At house parties, a sign-up sheet can be helpful so people don't have to wait in line for a long time, and can mingle until their time comes. In some very crowded situations, to maximize the guests that get read, I have done just a one-card reading. An example of this was at the opening night Afterparty for Criss Angel's show, "Believe," where I used a rather gothic looking deck, and let the guests keep their card as a token/memory of the event. I can dress in whatever style you want for your event, and usually bring a table cloth and some accessories such as a crystal ball.
