The Puro Queso Jazz Quartet was formed in 2003. The band is based in Pittsburgh, PA and plays in a variety of venues, including theaters, bars, restaurants, and private parties of all kinds.
The music of Puro Queso is influenced by a variety of cultures, thanks to the origin and background of its members: Mexican, Venezuelan and American.
Puro Queso means 'just cheese' in Spanish, which means nothing in particular but as you can imagine, the mixture of different influences gives Puro Queso a unique menu of flavors that go from classic traditional jazz to modern fusion and contemporary Latin jazz.
