The Heather Nelson Trio did a really great job at our wedding!! Before the wedding I spoke with Johnny Nelson (Heather's husband, the bassist in the band) two or three times. He was very easy to talk to over the phone and very helpful and accommodating (he helped us decide on songs, timing, etc). Our reception was 3 hours long. They played the first 2 and DJ'd the last hour when people were ready to dance. They also did a really great job acting as master of ceremony and making necessary announcements. They were perfect!!! I just can't recommend them enough!!

Fantastic group for our corporate Christmas party. We will be booking this group again. Very talented. Perfect volume. Heather has a beautiful voice. We had about 250 people in attendance and received about that many compliments. I highly recommend this group.

Wow. We hired the Heather Nelson Trio for our wedding reception and they really made it special for us. It rained halfway through their set-up, and still they were flexible, pleasant, and altogether wonderful. Even though most of our guests left because of the rain, they played like it was a full house. They sounded great; Heather's voice is so soft, gentle and lilting. Perfection.
Our song, "I Will" by The Beatles, is not on their set list; however, they were nice enough to learn it, slow it down and play it for our first dance. Even though I've heard that song hundreds of times, I cried throughout it.
Believe me, you will love this band.

We booked Heather and her trio plus a sax player for our wedding and we are STILL receiving compliments on the music! The atmosphere that the Heather Nelson Trio created fit perfectly into our venue and the holiday season. We could not have asked for better song selection, professionalism, communication, or overall level of talent. Having been a musician myself for over twenty years, I have tremendously high expectations of musical groups, and Heather and her group actually exceeded them. Heather Nelson Trio was absolutely fabulous. They braved the weather (it was very chilly) and still set up, played and sang beautifully. Heather's voice is wonderful. I highly recomend the Heather Nelson Trio. The ambiance was perfect for my birthday party and everyone enjoyed them.

The Heather Nelson Trio was a big hit at my wedding reception! People of all ages loved the music and lots of people danced! They sounded very classy and the volume was just right. They even, by my request, learned how to play our song so we could dance to it on our first dance. They played for the whole reception outdoors in 100 degree weather! They were awesome!!!!! Couldn't have asked for more!

The Heather Nelson Trio was fabulous. My guests all raved about them. Where did I find them? I told them I Googled swing band okc and found Gigmasters. I was able to sample the band's performance online. Booking took less than 24 hrs, and the communitcation by email or phone was fast and easy. Its al lot more work using word of mouth and tracking bands down myself.

I can't say enough good things about The Heather Nelson Trio! They played for my dad's 80th birthday and I continue receiving comments on how wonderful they were! He keeps saying over and over what a great trio, and he's been playing jazz for about 70 years. They've got an extensive playlist, they are very professional and kind, and they would help make any gathering a tremendous success! If you love good jazz music, you'll love this trio.

We were really happy with their professionalism.
They accommodate to every need we had with in the party.
We were able to use paypal to pay which it was easy to us as we were traveling from out of state and we don't carry checks.
They were on time, the star playing on time and left on time.
