Standard Time's musicians are filled with enthusiasm, energy and amazing talent. The music is a nice variety of old standards, swing and pop. As you watch the band, you will see how much the musicians enjoy their work. They've created their own unique arrangement for each piece that will thrill every listener. Composers range from George Gershwin and Irving Berlin, to James Taylor, Sting, Prince and Michael Buble. The group captures the spirit of the songs they perform, and can energize a room. Standard Time has worked together for 14 years. They feature Maggie Waltz on bass, Jean Wilson on keyboard and back-up vocals, Rob Hejna on drums, Charlie Kemp on sax and Kyle Newmeyer on vocals. They are based in Ann Arbor and perform throughout Michigan.
