The Greater Atlanta String Quartet was founded in 2012 in Kennesaw Ga, serving as a primary ensemble to play for small events. Now, the ensemble is booked regularly for weddings and functions in the surrounding Metro Atlanta area about 80 times per year,engaging the community in higher education and learning. The members of the GASQ are all full-time professional musicians in their respective instruments and also teach privately in the Atlanta area. The primary style of music the GASQ plays are classical style music for formal weddings, covers, and a few pop tunes.
