I used Tropicallusion for the cocktail hour for my beach wedding and he was great! He was on time and did a better job than my DJ for the reception. Wish I would have had him play the reception. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Steve was on-time, set-up and ready to go by our start time. He is a talented musician and really did a fantastic job for us. He interacted well with everyone and even accommodated one of our guests that we encouraged to sing. Steve was truly one of the most memorable parts of our reception and we both highly recommend him for any gig.

We had an outside wedding with small reception. Steven provided the wedding march and music during the reception time. He did an outstanding job. He kept the volume at a good level to allow conversation and did an excellent job of song selection. We would definitely use him again.

Steven was terrific and so helpful. As we neared the time for our wedding ceremony the seasonal showers started. Not wanting to bring our outdoor ceremony inside, he suggeted delaying the ceremony and starting cocktails. Sure enough the rain quit and our ceremony was held outside overlooking the harbor. An extra plus, my nephew is convinced a steel drum is now a necessity for his wedding. Thanks Steven!!!

He was great to work with! He arrived with plenty of time to set up and do a sound check. I appreciated his ability to come in and get himself arranged with minimal input and direction from me since I was otherwise occupied with fixing the a/v for a different part of the event.

Steve didn't call us back initially til the next evening. When he did call back he whinned about the fact that the wedding was on the beach ( which was stated in the original gig) and that he wanted another $100.00. We told him no. We didn't end up hiring him. We went somewhere else. I then got some drunken, garbled message from him a week before the wedding and I still don't know what he wanted. I didn't respond. I will never use him in the future and will never recommend him to anyone.

I regret that this booking nagotiation turned sour. Due to the perspective clients miss understanding of the proper terminoligy used by us gigmaster performers. There are three segments to a wedding event. 1.the ceremony.2.cocktail hour. and 3.the reception. They requested a 2 hr. ceremony.I assumed they were confussed of the legenth of a ceremony.When they informed me I was to be performing outside of a local open air restuarant ( I'm pretty sure management wouldn't alow anyway)That ment I was to be playing for their cocktail hour or reception as well.Therefore,I asked for the usual increase in pay. It was their choice and declined. Now weeks later gigmaster
