Plum Island Pans Steel Drum Band from Newburyport, MA

Plum Island Pans is a group of multiple steel drum ensembles from the North Shore, originating from Zach Field Drum Studios located in Newburyport, MA. The group has exploded onto the scene as one of the few steel drum bands in the area. Plum Island Pans covers a number of styles and genres of music including traditional steel drum music, reggae, jazz and billboard hits. The band is entirely acoustic and is comprised of the bass (six, fifty five gallon drums), the double seconds (the upper half of 55 gallon drums), the lead pan (the top of the drum), and a drum set. The band is available as a duo (the lead and double seconds) or the full band. Plum Island Pans play a wide range of events from birthday parties and weddings to corporate events.
