Tim Haldeman's entry into stand-up comedy was sudden, unexpected but very successful... 15 years ago, this veteran and seasoned actor was unexpectedly called on stage at a charity golf tournament to open the Gala Show due to an emergency no show by the opening comedian. Tim's job was to warm up the crowd. He did way more than that. He did a terrific five minute improv set and was a big hit. Little did he know that this would launch his second career. Over the past decade, Tim has performed a solid stand-up act all over the country in several different venues. He has been in demand to perform as Host/MC or Featured act at over 25 charity golf tournaments including The Coastal Classic in Wilmington NC, the Children's Charity Classic in Lexington KY, the Mercy Celebrity Classic in Fort Smith AR, and the Inner City Games Classic in San Diego. Tim has also been busy performing at comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store in Hollywood CA,n the Coach House in Carlsbad CA, Jack Didley's in Kennewick WA, The Pechanga Comedy Club at the Pechanga Casino Resort in Temecula CA , the Palace Station in Las Vegas, and this past Labor Day was the featured act in three sold out shows at the Comedy on the Edge at the Edgewater Hotel and casino in Laughlin NV. He has been a recurring Host/MC or a Featured act at the much acclaimed and long running "Comedy On The Coast" concerts at Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, OR. He has shared the stage with some of the top comedy names in the business such as Alonzo Bodden, Michael Pace, Fielding West and his comedy mentor, Kenny Bob Davis as a partial list. He has hosted many gala dinner shows at many golf events that feature some of the most famous performers in show business….and they all continue to ask for Tim. He is also an avid golfer and aspiring conga player. Tim helped raise money for the USC/Norris Cancer Scholarship fund and most recently helped raise $110,000 for the Woods Humane Society in Arroyo Grande CA., as the Host/MC. The most ever raised for a charity function in this small town of 15,000! His proudest moment performing stand-up came as part of a USO show on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis at sea for the over 5000 men and women aboard as they returned from over six months in the Arabian Sea on the mission "Enduring Freedom". As an actor, you have seen Tim in over 130 TV shows and movies as well in over 150 commercials. You saw him play Elliot Blair in Universal's Dante's Peak as well as guest starring roles in several Hit TV shows such as The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, ER, Cold Case, and a recurring role on The Drew Carey Show. You've seen time in Southland and a recently playing Haylie Duff's Dad in the independent film for Lifetime: All About Christmas Eve.
