Since his arrival on the Detroit comedy scene, Jason Brent has shown how great vulnerability can bring great laughs. During his five years in comedy he has worked as a writer and producer to expand the local comedy scene while still sharpening his own comedic talents. Whether you come to a show he produces or hear a set he writes for you, you're sure to love his ability to make light of the weirdest parts of our humanity. Jason Brent produces and emcees the Detroit area comedy shows: The Comfort Zone, Netfl*x Spec*al, The Pilot, and Beta Tests. He is also a managing producer at the Independent Comedy Club. He has performed with Brad Wenzel, Josh Adams, Mike Bobbit, Mike Cronin and Ryan Schutt.
