From Lincoln Hills Concert ! Last night we attended the latest outdoor amphitheater concert at SCLH. it was extraordinary. The band played a wide selection of mostly R&B style music based on the Stax label. we were reminded of Tower of Power with the tight arrangements, extraordinary musicianship, and strong vocals. and like the best tribute bands this group played familiar tunes but put their distinctive stamp on each one. the large crowd was enthusiastic to say the least----what not to like. Stax City was awesome! I booked them for a 1960's theme birthday party, and they did not disappoint. Band truly made my party! I will use them for all future parties and events. Band received rave reviews from all my guests. Cannot match their big band sound.
