The Brook and the Bluff were wonderful! We hired them for our wedding, and we couldn’t be more pleased with their work. They are such nice guys, and their music is phenomenal! Phil Collins himself might as well have been performing, “you’ll be in my heart.” They covered, “hey ya!” By OutKast and it was amazing! They have such a great range of music. There was something for everyone in our wedding crowd. I highly recommend them, and my husband and I will definitely be attending one of their shows in the future!

The Brook and The Bluff were amazing! We had them learn our first dance song and I can say without a doubt it was better than the original! Everyone told us how much they loved them! I couldn't have asked for a better band! My husband and I will always be fans of theirs!

We had a sizable wedding of over 100 people, many of them professional musicians, and everyone raved about our reception band! Our aunts and uncles loved singing along to the Motown and oldies tunes, and the band really got everyone up, energized, and having a fantastic time on the dance floor! They were very accommodating even when they were asked to play in a loft, next to hay bales and old farm equipment. Easy to work with, great musical interaction with the crowd, and they sounded incredible playing a great variety of styles. Thanks for making our reception such a fun, memorable, joyful time!!!

I'm so pleased with my experience with The Brook and the Bluff. Their cover of our first dance song was probably better than the original. They are so talented and unique, the crowd loved them, and they are really easy to work with. And they are just great people! I highly recommend them to anybody looking for a wedding band.

I had The Brook and the Bluff play for my wedding reception in March at the Vulcan. John was so great to work with, and he made sure to accommodate any of my requests. They are all talented and know the best music to get people dancing! I had several guests ask about them and comment on how great they were. 10/10 recommend!!

My husband and I booked John and his band for our recent wedding and reception. I cannot adequately express how pleased we were with our decision. John was incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating to any request I had (even requests as late as the day before the wedding). John even came a day early into town just so he could be at rehearsal. More than anything, the band is incredibly talented and fun. Their music was upbeat, fun, and interactive, even though it was 40 degrees. We were so impressed by their professionalism, talent, and friendliness. For all future events, we will book John and his band without hesitation. I highly recommend for any event.

We used John for our wedding ceremony and reception and I was so impressed with him. During the planning process, he learned at least 7 new songs for my reception (with only 3 months notice) and he always responded to my emails very quickly. He was so accommodating to my vision for the wedding. During the reception, it was obvious how talented he is - People were giving us compliments all night long. His vocals are magical! Such a nice guy too. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

We could not be happier with The Brook and the Bluff as our wedding band. John Canada was a joy to work with throughout the booking period. His responses were timely and professional, making sure the process was stress free for us. Looking back at all of our wedding vendors, they were one of the best choices we made. The Brook and the Bluff really set the tone for exactly what we we wanted for the reception. We received so many compliments from friends and family, many of whom are accomplished musicians in their own right. I would encourage anyone to hire this group, they are a class act.
