A Gentlemen's Agreement was reached between Alan B. MacIntosh (piano/voice) and David T. Smith (bass/voice). The two gentlemen agreed to create a duo of smooth blending musical perfection which emphasizes quality enjoyment. The agreement was made to provide the listener a relaxed soft sound, which specializes in the American Song book, Latin, and Jazz standards, that is audibly enjoyable without being conversationally intrusive. No matter what the venue: jazz club, dining establishment, holiday/cocktail party, reception, or fund raising activity, A Gentlemen's Agreement can be depended to provide that simply sophisticated sound.
Alan B. MacIntosh, Keyboard/Vocal
Alan's fascination with music began with the trombone in 5th grade and he quickly added piano to his musical passions. In Vegas, he was a member of Stan's Band, a unique & legendary lounge act known for it's complex vocal arrangements, handling valve trombone, keyboard, vocal, and left-hand bass duties. He brought those same talents to The Four Freshmen when he sang second part and toured the States and the world performing their classic hits. His favorite musical pastime these days is exploring the repertoire of the Great American Songbook.
David T. Smith, Bass/Vocal
Originally from Hollywood, California, David moved to Las Vegas in the late seventies to be part of the Las Vegas Heydays. As a result of his classical and jazz training, he adapted quickly playing lounge and production shows. David was a member of the Nevada Symphony Orchestra and served as Principal Bassist for three years. He conducted the Henderson Civic Symphony in the early nineties. David's latest passion is expanding his standard and Latin repertoire.
