Pianist, vocalist, bandleader, Steve Doyle plays an active role in the New York jazz and cabaret scene.  He is a consummate, respected pianist/vocalist and plays the double bass beautifully – a true triple threat.

Steve has a wide-ranging repertoire.  He delights audiences with his warm and friendly interactions and plays songs from a variety of eras and genres; 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, Broadway and current pop.  Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Billy Joel, Frankie Valley, Fred Astaire, Michael Buble are artists that have influenced Steve's repertoire.  

Over the past 25 years Mr. Doyle has performed for private events in the New York area at many prestigious venues such as the Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Birdland, the Algonquin, 54 Below, the Carlyle and is regularly invited to perform with luminaries of Jazz, Broadway, and Cabaret: Christine Ebersole, Marilyn Maye, Linda Lavin and Billy Stritch to name a few.  

Steve has worked internationally at Jazz festivals, with orchestras throughout the US and in concert engagements around the world as a sideman or with his own groups.  His discography includes appearances on over twenty-five professional recordings.  
 
He was the featured piano entertainer on a six-star luxury World Cruise early in 2016.  He has performed at the Grand Hilton New York, the Plaza Hotel and the Waldorf Astoria at the famed Cole Porter piano.  In New York, on Mondays Mr. Doyle performs on Mondays with Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch at the famed Birdland Jazz Club and regularly appears on Sundays at the Carlyle Hotel in Bemelman's Bar.
 
Steve has two CD's to date as a leader - one featuring his bass playing, PRESENCE and his latest release, which features Steve playing and singing - the critically acclaimed, HOME TO YOU.  He also composed, arranged and recorded the music for a children's musical entitled DADDY DIALOGS.

We could not have made a better choice than Steve for our party. He was professional, personable and his repertoire was broad and vast. Great pianist, lovely voice and wonderful person. You won't go wrong. 

 Steve is a terrific musician and created a delightful background  atmosphere for my son's engagement party. He was pleasant, played a wide breath of music  And in interacted well with both myself and my guests.
