Graham Dawson is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and performer currently based in New York's Hudson Valley.
Graham, only in his early 20s, has gained quite a reputation performing at many well-known venues in the area such as: the Towne Crier, Mary Kelly's, the Hyde Park Brewery, the Liberty, the Derby, Mahoney's, La Puerta Azul, the Pickwick Pub, Charlie O's, and Taste Budd's Cafè, among many others.
When you hear Graham sing, you will hear spot-on renditions of mid-60s pop/British pop (Beatles, Kinks, Hollies, Stones, Bee Gees, Monkees, Byrds, Beach Boys, Zombies, Left Banke), folk (Bob Dylan, Nick Drake, Donovan, Simon and Garfunkel), early 70s pop singer-songwriters (Elton John, James Taylor, Cat Stevens), power pop (Big Star, Badfinger, Raspberries), classic soul/R&B and Motown (Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Sam Cooke, Four Tops, Temptations), new wave (Squeeze, Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello, Joe Jackson, Dave Edmunds), Brit-pop/alternative/indie rock (Radiohead, Blur, Oasis, Verve, Kaiser Chiefs, Strokes, Shins), blues rock (Eric Clapton/Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower) and rock and roll (Elvis Presley, Queen, ELO, Supertramp, Peter Frampton), among many others.
