The Cuban artist Maylú Hernandez Castellanos is one of the most important performers from his time. After graduating from The National Cuban School of Art in 1997 as a professional ballet dancer and musical comedian she began studying lyrical and popular singing. Her debut arrived in 1998 performing the leading role of Sally Bowles in the Musical "Cabaret" , by that time done for the first time in Cuba. Since then she started an ascendant career traveling around the world to more then 20 countries and playing the leading roles in operas and musicals like "The Phantom of the Opera", "The Merry Widow", "The Faraon´s Court", "Chicago" and "Evita" among others and also interpreting an extensive repertoire (playlist) of Cuban and international music with recognized orquestras and live musicians bands. For several years she has hosted many televison programs and famous night clubs in Havana performing elegant and charismatic shows with her beautiful and wide registration voice.
