Janine Pesqueira Singer from Anaheim, CA

Janine Pesquira was born in 1985 in Downey, California and raised in Whittier where she attended La Habra High School. She was inspired at the young age of two by her mother Charlene, who woke her in the early morning hours by her harmonious melodies. Janine began to develop a ravenous desire for vocal splendor in her youth, developing a uniquely euphonious style which is as colorful as it is heavenly, she was in numerous choirs exploring her vocal ability to cross effortlessly between genres of classical and pop. Janine spans through musical grounds by busing otherwise incongruous genres, flourishing in her ability to seamlessly blend pop and classical components. In pursuit to grow as an individual and artist with a search for the meaning of life in tow, she set out for a life-changing adventure to Hawaii. There she spent 8 years honing her craft and exploring various vocal qualities and styles, learning ways in which she could soulfully express herself in the world of music. The wonderful island of Maui welcomed her with open arms, instilling a sense of invigoration and pride in her chosen craft, and it was here that she knew she was carving the right path for herself and her future. She received exemplary reviews of her performances by both the Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii. In her endeavors to establish herself as an artist Janine was bestowed the honor of working with artistic luminaries such as "Shambu", Kit Thomas, Jeff Oster and Ann Licater, allowing her to breakthrough as an artist and vocalist. Her heartfelt rendition of Grammy winning Singer-Songwriter Bruno Mars's "Grenade" has captured the attention of many, while her vocal coach Lani Starr agrees she has a natural talent. Janine can produce a full soulful pop, contemporary sound, and can also blossom out into a heavenly light soprano. In 2014, Janine returned to her hometown in California to network with artists, songwriters, and musical intellects to expand her budding career as a singer and find her niche as an artist. As she continues to develop her vocal qualities with a selection of songs she has prepared for performance in local upscale venues and restaurants. Currently bordering the Los Angeles and Orange County area. Her desires to experiment with new territories of recording so as to showcase her growth as an artist and refine her craft. Janine also looks to aggrandize her talent into new areas of growth including the industry of film and video game scoring as it quickly gains popularity and momentum. Janine is ready to book gigs and present herself and her passion for music to the world.
